We went for just a couple of drinks before deciding to stay for food. The meal was delicious and presented beautifully. Our server, Lilly, was super attentive and served everything with wit and a smile. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!
Visited this morning for breakfast with my partner as we were visiting Bath for our 1 year anniversary when I made booking it asked any special requests I cheekily mentioned our special day having finished our breakfast I very lovely lady brought over a chocolate brownie with ice cream and strawberry's for us to share its the little things like this that make visits so thank you all we will be back
Enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service. We were served by Ellie who was a natural and very attentive. Enjoyed the small plates which went down well with my daughter. A lovely evening thank you!
Absolutely fab and we will be back! Olivia took such great care of us, in fact the whole team did. The portion sizes are spot on, and cooked to perfection. I was surprised by the starters which were absolutely fantastic!! We had the scallops, prawns and calamari and it was super tasty! For mains we picked the tasting platter with 4oz rump, sirloin and fillet. Given the flavour and portion sizes it was such great value and if you're keen to have bigger cuts then chefs can apparently cut to size so an extra bonus! We even had a bottle of bubbles and 2 cocktails (2for1!) and it came to a super reasonable price! Again, lovely team and experience, thanks team.
Me & my husband had lunch here today, we had 3 starters (scallops, chicken wings & burnt ends) then the chateaubriand steak meal for 2 and a side of truffle mac & Cheese, it was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious, we have been here a few times before & although the menu has definitely reduced since last time we came so some of the items we had before that we wanted again wasnt available but this was by far the best meal we have had here and will definitely be returning again
We went on a quiet day for a friends birthday, and we celebrated it with a bottomless brunch. And I have to say that Connor is the top shagger! He was a beast when it came to serving us. He served us so well we don't remember anything but a good time. Sam also was great after Connor left. Lee's pornstars (martinis) tasted immaculate. The food was top notch and the quality of insane. Bottomline: One of the best places to have steak and amazing cocktails at.
Really great place! We were a bit nervous because it was empty when we arrived but it was an excellent experience. The food is well worth the price and the menu has great options (including loads of gluten free options). Our server, Alex, was excellent, friendly and gave really great advice about the menu. And the cocktails were amazing! Highly recommend.
A. M. A. Z. I. N. G! Maybe because we were loved up... Maybe because we were tipsy... But we really and sincerely enjoyed the service from Sam, our waiter! The food was superb, the beautiful cocktails Alex prepared for us was amazing! We'd travel the 3 hour car journey again, any day, to have another experience like this! Big ups to Bar Block!!
